Easy Campfire Fajitas

Fajitas are good any time of year! There can be many variations; spicy or mild, lots of veggies, or just cheese and meat, but this is one simple recipe that will fill you up while out in the wilderness. Just mix up the marinade, toss it in a bag, add your meat, and hit the dirt road. Whether you want it for lunch or dinner, quick and easy is the goal for this delicious recipe.












1 Tbsp Chili Powder

½ tsp Cayenne

2 tsp Cumin

1 tsp Paprika

½ tsp Garlic Powder

2 tsp Salt

1 tsp Black Pepper

1 Tbsp Oil

2 lbs Meat of choice

2 Bell Peppers

1 Yellow Onion

8 Flour Tortillas

Salsa of choice

Sour Cream



Mix together spices


Cut meat into strips and place in bag with oil


Add spice mix and marinate at least 4 hours


Heat up frying pan


Slice onion and bell pepper into strips


Sautee meat until cooked through and transfer to plate


Sautee onion and bell pepper until cooked to preference


Add meat back in and keep warm


Assemble fajitas as desired with salsa, sour cream, and cheese
