Chicken Kebabs

From backyard BBQ to the campsite, kebabs are easy and fun.  You can make them with any combination of ingredients, and with a little forethought, can marinate ingredients to enhance flavors.


Chicken breast (boneless), cubed

Green pepper, quartered

Red Pepper, quartered

Mushrooms, halved

Onion, cubed

Yellow squash, cubed

Kebabs are versatile and fun for the kids in camp.


Marinate (if desired) meat and vegetables 4-6 hours prior to cooking.  Place ingredients, alternating, on skewer sticks.  Grill until thoroughly cooked.  Add seasoning to taste.  Note: You may choose to saute your meat briefly prior to skewering in order to assure thorough cooking.
